AppRidge offers an extensive and unique array of analytical technologies for detailed structural and physicochemical characterization of carbohydrates of interest to the biomedical and pharmaceutical communities.  These analyses  may lead to useful structure/property relationships.  Using NMR, we have structurally characterized fungal carbohydrates, such as glucans, mannans, and fructans, isolated from oat as well as the cell wall of fungal species such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida albicans, C. auris, C. glabrata, C. sake, C. haemulonii, C. tropicalis, Debaryomyces hansenii, Acremonium diospyri, Aspergillus fumigatus, Malassezia sympodialis, and Cryptococcus neoformans.

You have a great laboratory-scale process for making your API or other product but need it produced on a larger scale under GMP for further testing. We will locate a suitable GMP-certified production facility through one of our associated laboratories.  We work with you and the laboratory to be sure that your technical needs are meet in a timely and cost-effective manner.  

Whether you have been making your products for years or are just getting started, your competition wants to make that product better than you and gain your business.  AppRidge provides a 3rd-party partner to comparison test your product against to your competitor’s product.  We acquire your competitor’s product, arrange for testing both products under as many test protocols as you specify, and summarize all test results for your review.  We can test as many of your products versus as many of your competitor’s products as you request by using as many different test protocols as you feel are needed to fully appreciate your product quality relative to your competition.  With these results, you can show your current and potential customers as well as your management how your products stack up against your competition.

AppRidge can review technical documents and reports from your outsourced providers to assist in validating report quality and usefulness.  We will read the documents and provide you with a written report of problem areas within the report, if present, as well as an assessment of the report’s technical quality.

AppRidge offers expertise in the structural characterization of industrial polymers and fibers including polyamides, polyesters, polyolefins, polyacrylates,  polymethacrylates, biodegradable polymers, polyethers, and cellulose and its ether and ester derivatives.

AppRidge provides access to excellent capabilities for protein-ligand binding studies with carbohydrate ligands using Biolayer Interferometry (BLI).
